How to Building Backyard Playhouse

Sep 3rd

Backyard playhouse – If you want to build an outdoor playhouse for your kids, consider putting together a simple plywood house. You can use plywood sheets thin to build a basic five-sided playhouse, then use tools like sand paper and a hand saw to finish the doors and windows. Creating this type of playhouse on your own will save the cost of buying a similar product from a toy store where similar playhouses can be expensive. Your kids can even try their hands at adapting their new playhouse with paint and markers.

Add five board on top of the box to make a tag. Secure in place by hammering four nails on each side.  Strengthen hammered nails by placing a line of wood glue on each nail and let dry. Paint the outside of the backyard playhouse any color you want. Let the paint dry. Brush on a thin, even layer of clear shellac in the paint. This will protect against the weather outside. Let dry.
